Neenah Paper Annual Report

NEENAH ANNUNAL REPORT

THE ASK: Neenah Paper, a company that produces technical and luxury papers, had designed drastically different styles of annual reports in the past that did not reflect the company’s design aesthetic. Neenah was looking for an annual report that displayed their wide range of products and new campaigns emphasizing their fine art paper lines, and brand identity.

THE SOLUTION: To redesign an annual report that demonstrates the versatility and style of Neenah's paper products. In order to show off Neenah's various collections of beautiful paper, samples were incorporated as dies-cut section dividers within the report. In an effort to emphasize that paper was not just for printing and writing, I introduced a three-dimensional element to the report. The front cover is a half inch thick, hollow "box" with a die cut. The dimension creates a shadow within the "box" allowing the die cut letter to 'pop-out.' The book also has interactive components to make the not so exciting content, specifically the statistics section, more engaging for the viewer.

MOCK-UPS

The interactive statistic pages required several rounds of mock-ups to ensure that the bars accurately reflected the data.
